Townsville Chamber of Commerce seeks to connect a network of local businesses and industries to improve the local business environment. Regional Development Australia North West Queensland (RDA NWQ)
Regional Development Australia is an Australian Government initiative that encourages all levels of government to collaborate to enhance the growth and development of Australia’s regions. Regional Development Australia Townsville and North West Queensland operates as a not-for-profit incorporated association across north and north west Queensland. RDA’s region consists of 15 Local Government Area.

Mount Isa to Townsville Economic Zone (MITEZ)
The Mount Isa to Townsville Economic Development Zone (MITEZ) is a regional organisation representing seven local government areas a across the northern parts of Queensland. MITEZ encompasses Mount Isa, Cloncurry, McKinlay, Richmond, Flinders, Charters Towers and Townsville. MITEZ is committed to maintaining its existing investment and investigating new opportunities as they arise, helping to accelerate growth in the region and securing its economic future for decades to come.
